With today’s Cancer Full Moon on its way, my Mother and I spent our morning connecting with the waters of our land, the waters of ourselves, the depths of our subconscious, the beauty of feminine chaos and the unknown, waiting to be revealed. The message received was clear;
“Patience rests and calms in the darkness of growth.”
From Samhain to Yule I have experienced a period of illness for the first time in years that has sent me even deeper into the stillness than I have been before. A great teacher once told me that illness is the bodies way of removing stagnant energy or old conditioning in preparation for a shift into lighter frequencies. Like the slingshot, we are pulled back momentarily, to purge the old in order to be shot forward into the next chapter of our awakening with greater clarity, renewed.
Last night, after what felt like an age of purging I had an explosion of vision. My third eye revealed image after insight with such absolute clarity. I was spun through many phases of the night from crossing over a troubled soul that found me, to sending healing and receiving guidance for a loved one, to the most profound vision of duality.
The vision began as a faceless coin thrown from my third eye and spinning wildly in front of me. All else was black, only the coin was visible. When the coin slowed and fell flat a great shaft of light shot from the side facing up and revealed the most beautiful depiction of all the lands on Earth. It was a tropical rainforest, a wooded glen, an open clearing, a desert, rocky mountains, all lands, all at once and the rays from the sun shone down with such a pure light it illuminated and warmed the heart.
The under side of the coin then expelled its own funnel of light and divulged the depths of our waters, murky and dark almost sinister but more so mystical, mythical, the unknowable.
As both sides of the coin shone light and dark, they began to continuously flip. The shining land becoming an ominous storm as the deep ocean became an illuminated multicoloured reef, pregnant with magnificent fish and beauty. The duality flipped once more, with sunlight returning to the land and sharks roaming a dimly lit sea bed.
I cannot express the awe or the profound message of what I saw. It is not a message that we can decode with language but rather one sent directly to the soul. A knowing.
I hope from here, it can speak to you as it spoke to me, in time for the endings and new beginnings this watery full moon bestows upon us.
